Terms and Conditions
Last updated 8 October 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
Salco is a service that helps a business keep its customer conversations, appointments, orders and team in one place. These terms are the agreement between you (the person or business using Salco) and Salco.
By creating an account or signing in you agree to them. If you use Salco for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that business.
2. Your account
Keep your password and sign-in methods private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you add to your team and the access you give them.
The owner of a business can add and remove people, change what each person can do, transfer the business to someone else, or delete it. Deleting a business removes its data permanently.
3. Your customers' data
The customer information you put into Salco stays yours. We process it for you, only to provide the service. You decide who on your team sees it. It is stored encrypted, separately for each business.
You are responsible for having the right to hold and contact your customers: a lawful reason to keep their data, and their permission where the law or the messaging platform requires it. You can export a copy of your data and delete a customer or the whole business at any time.
4. WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels
Salco connects to messaging services such as WhatsApp and Instagram through the providers' own tools. You must follow the rules of each provider (for WhatsApp, Meta's Business and Commerce policies), including getting a customer's permission before sending them marketing messages, honouring requests to stop, and using approved templates outside the 24-hour reply window.
A provider can limit or suspend a number or an account. We are not responsible for that, or for messages a provider does not deliver.
5. What you may not do
Do not use Salco to send spam, unlawful, abusive or deceptive messages, to collect data you have no right to, to break the law or anyone's rights, to attack or overload the service, or to try to get into another business's data.
We may suspend an account that does this, or that puts the service or other customers at risk.
6. Plans, credit and payment
Some features depend on your plan, and some actions (such as business-initiated WhatsApp messages and AI use) use credit. Prices, limits and what each plan includes are shown in the app. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Salco running and your data safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
8. Liability
Salco is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost profits, or for loss caused by things outside our control, such as a messaging provider's decisions. Our total liability for a claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
9. Ending
You may stop using Salco at any time and delete your business from My Organization. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability) continue after the end.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms: reply to any email from Salco, or write to the address shown in the app.
